Making Monday Pretty: Two Great New Tools of 2013

Every year there are new inventions in the beauty world and sometimes it's just an update to make something that was already a beauty staple even better. This year, two of my favourite new beauty tools are just that, updates to make two products that already had holy grail status, even holier.
First up is the New Generation Eyelash S Curler from Shu Uemera which is about half the size of the original. This simple change makes this version easier to reach all lashes from end to end and fits all eye shapes and sizes. Better yet, if you want to emphasize certain areas of your lashes with extra curl (cat eye anyone?) then it is super easy to do it.
My next favourite beauty tool is the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i hair dryer. This classic looking hair dryer is anything but, with performance tests showing that it dries hair 64% faster than other dryers, provides 73% reduction in frizz, 86% increase in body, 19% increase in shine, 33% increase in comb-ability and 48% increase in style retention, basically, this hair dryer is said to not only dry your hair faster, but actually improve the hair's condition, where do I sign up? The breakthrough of this product is it's engine, which turns out 58 times more heat energy and is more powerful than any other before it. Because hair dries so much faster, it evaporates water only on the surface and never touches the essential moisture within the hair strands, meaning the hair doesn't even have a chance to sustain any damage. I recently got my very own Featherweight Luxe 2i and although I don't think I've had it long enough to comment on it repairing my hair's health, I can definitely vouch for the fact that it does indeed dry my hair in record time with more shine, body and softness and when used with the ionic brush that comes with it, it does really lock in my style, a winner in my books!
