Making Monday Pretty: The Nude Lip

The nude lip is a look that will always have a place in our beauty regime, as a perfect compliment to a colourful or smoky eye or the finishing touch to that barely there makeup look. If you are on the paler side, you want to choose a nude with a hint of peach or pink in it to avoid looking washed out, and if you have a darker complexion go for a warmer, rosier nude and definitely stay away from anything too light!
This year, Maybelline debuted their "The Buffs" collection of Color Sensational lipsticks with the goal of providing a nude for every skin tone, and we have been loving these shades since they hit the shelves! The collection of eight shades are opaque yet slightly dewy so as never to look "dead" on the lips, and never feel dry or cakey and there really is a shade (or two!) for all skin tones.
